At RAD, the fitness of our regional assets relies on core funding -- the type of funds that assets can us at their discretion to sustain day-to-day operations. While their program focus may vary -- libraries, parks, sports and civic facilities, arts and culture, and transportation -- this core support is vital to their well being, to creating well-managed, fully operational regional assets that are critically important to our region.
The 2016 RAD Annual Report focuses on the core funding support from RAD that helps our regional assets not only to maintain, but to upgrade and to improve programs and facilities that are the jewels in our community. With reliable core funding, RAD assets seek new audiences, present world premieres and leverage support from new donors.
The RAD Board welcomes comments from the public on this report and any other RAD matter.
In Southwestern Pennsylvania, it is a simple matter of fact that the seasons will change and with them a change in our surroundings. Nature responds to the forces of the earth and the sun -- and we experience the accompanying changes in light, temperature and colors that surround us.
At the Regional Asset District, we also take note that as the seasons change, so do the activities and offerings of our regional assets.
Please enjoy our Annual Report 2015 which will take you through the Seasons of RAD at our libraries, parks, sports and civic facilities, and arts and culture programs.
We welcome your comments and feedback!

RAD has marked a unique and special commitment to invest in the quality of life in the region each year since its first. Through RAD as a stable and predictable funding source, our regional assets have grown in ways that help make our region a destination for residents and visitors.
We invite you to read more in the full report about the many ways that RAD has, and will continue to, "work here."
