RAD Funds New Equipment for Assets to Meet Demand for Accessibility Accommodations
At a gathering in June, the region's leading arts advocacy organization and RAD urged Allegheny County's arts and culture presenters to meet the increasing demand for accommodations by utilizing shared technology and equipment. By doing so, according to the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council and RAD, Pittsburgh will continue to be a leader in making arts and culture enjoyable for all.
It's Summer Reading Time
Beach reading, hammock reading, out-in-a-park reading -- it's summer, so it's a great time to enjoy the outdoors with a book, and lose yourself in a new place or with new characters.
RAD Board News
At-large board member Daniel Rosen, PhD, was re-elected as the at-large member of the board of directors. He is an Associate Professor in the School of Social Work at the University of Pittsburgh.
Advisory Board Paints the Town RAD at the Frick Pittsburgh
RAD Board and Advisory Board members gathered at the Frick Art & Historical Center in May to learn more about the Frick's 21st century curating techniques, and were invited to express themselves on canvas in an art piece for the RAD office. (Come see the finished piece on the wall in our conference room!)
